Analytics Researcher
Position Summary:
Slide is a data driven company and we are looking for someone with exceptionally strong quantitative and analytical skills to perform detailed analyses and use them to guide feature development. At Slide, you will have the opportunity to build sophisticated models, prototype data driven features, and see them released to hundreds of millions of people around the world.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct deep data driven analyses that answer business critical questions
- Liaise with the Product team to ensure that all key metrics are being tracked with each product release
- Gather, track and analyze key performance metrics to provide explanations for significant changes and drive overall business growth
- Perform both regular and ad-hoc analyses using both Python and MySQL to manipulate large amounts of data
- Prototype data driven features based on statistical modeling, machine learning, etc.
Qualifications:
- A strong interest in online social networks and network/user dynamics
- Superior intellectual, quantitative, and analytical abilities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and superb attention to detail
- Experience with data mining and/or quantitative market research is a plus
- The drive to work in a fast-paced, start-up environment
- A degree in a quantitative field is preferred (mathematics, computer science, physics, engineering, etc.)

Flash Developer
Position Summary:

Position Summary:

Responsibilities:
- Building relationships with users to establish solid rapport
- Providing feedback to Slide to improve the user experience
- Assisting with market research through surveys, usability studies, etc
- Identifying technical bugs on behalf of the community
- Engaging users on personal, 1:1 level
- Seeding products to users within different social networks
- Encouraging Slide enthusiasts to spread the word about new releases
Qualifications:

Datamapper Engineer at TripIt in San Francisco, CA
Position Summary:
The team of highly experienced and creative engineers at TripIt have
built an application unlike any that have come before it in the online
travel space. It is now time for TripIt to take it to the next level,
and to do that we need you. If you are the type of engineer that is
driven by the challenge of solving unique and challenging problems in a
dynamic,fast growing, and customer-focused environment then TripIt is

In this position you would report directly to the co-founder and VP
of Engineering and work alongside an experienced team of engineers who
have already built out support for over 500 different travel vendors.
Responsibilities:
This position will have you working on maintaining and expanding vendor
support for TripIt\'s core patent pending email parsing technology. You
must be passionate about new technologies and solving difficult
technical problems, have a good sense of product design, have solid
development habits (e.g. unit testing, technical design documentation,
etc...), some experience with backend web technologies, and are not
afraid to dive into new and unfamiliar technologies.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of prior software development or experience
- Strong command of and experience using pattern matching technologies such as regular expressions
- Understanding of web and web-related technologies
- Server-side application development in Python, PHP, Perl, or Ruby
- Familiarity with XML and XML Schema
- Solid development habits and practices
- Natural problem-solver and troubleshooter
